DMCA Policy For iteminform
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) helps keep safe those who make things from folks who steal and post their work on the web.
This law aims at sites where the owners don’t know who adds each bit of stuff, or where the site lets folks add and share things.
We have rules to act on any theft claim and take the right steps.
This Digital Millennium Copyright Act sets rules for the “iteminform.com” site (“Site” or “Help”) and all its linked goods and aids (all called “Helps”). It tells how this Site’s boss (“Boss”, “we”, “us” or “our”) deals with theft claims and how you (“you” or “your”) can tell us if you think your work was stolen.
We care a lot about mind work rights and ask our site guests and their helpers to do the same. We aim to act fast on clear claims of theft that match the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) of 1998. You can find this act’s text at the U.S. Copyright Office site.
Think First, Then Claim
Please note if you’re not sure the stuff you claim is a theft, you may want to talk to a law help first.
The DMCA says you must give your own facts in your theft claim. If you care about the trust of your own facts, think well.
How To Claim Theft
If you own or help those who own rights, and you think any stuff on our Helps steals your rights, then you may send us a note (“Note”) with your facts. All such Notes must meet the DMCA rules.
When you file a DMCA claim, you start a set law path. We will check your claim for truth, worth, and if it’s full. If your claim meets these needs, we may take down or block the stuff you say is not fair.
If we pull or block stuff or close a count due to a theft Note, we will try hard to reach the user who this hurts with facts on why we took things down.
Still, the Boss keeps the right to take no step when we get a DMCA theft Note if it does not meet all the DMCA rules.
The steps in this rule do not stop us from using other ways to fix theft we think took place.
We May Change Things
We may change this rule or its terms for the Site and Helps at any time as we see fit. When we do, we will post a note on the main page of the Site, send you a mail to tell you. We may also let you know in other ways we pick, like through the facts you gave us.
A new type of this Rule will work right when we post the new Rule if not said else. If you still use the Site and Helps past the start day of the new Rule (or other act said at that time) you say yes to those changes.
